George Lyons (baseball)

George Tony "Smooth" Lyons was an American Major League Baseball pitcher who appeared in 7 games for the 1920 St. Louis Cardinals and 26 additional games for the 1924 St. Louis Browns.
Lyons was born in Bible Grove, Illinois and died in Nevada, Missouri and is buried there in Newton Burial Park.
