George Mehnert
George Nicholas Mehnert was an American wrestler who competed in the 1904 Summer Olympics and 1908 Summer Olympics. He was born in Newark, New Jersey.
In 1904 he won a gold medal in flyweight category. Four years later he won a gold medal in freestyle bantamweight category. In winning the gold medal in 1908 he became the first American to win 2 Olympic gold medals in wrestling, and only one of three.
