Ghana Super Cup


The Ghana Super Cup is a football competition involving a match played between the champion of the Ghana Premier League and the winner of the Ghanaian FA Cup in Ghana. The first GSC competition took place in the 1996–1997 season, with a thirteen-year hiatus between the seasons 1998–2010 with Asante Kotoko being the most successful club in the competition history, having won the cup on three occasions with the first being in 2012, the second in the 2013 GSC competition after defeating Medeama in the finals and the last being 2014 because they won both the league and fa cup in that year,they were given the super cup without kicking the ball.
The current cup holders are Aduana Stars.
