The Godmasters, like Headmasters, use Transtectors. Unlike the Headmasters, however, instead of being tiny robots, they were Humans using the power of the Masterforce to transform. The Godmasters use golden braces, crossing them, shouting, “Masterforce”! Then after saying transform they say, “God On!”, and transform into engine’s that allow them to transform their Transtector’s. Their toys were originally released as the Power Masters in the U.S., but were altered to make new characters in Japan. The biggest and most notable change was Optimus Prime.
: 19 year-old truck driver from Nagano, Japan who moved to America. When the truck's cab is combined with its trailer, he becomes Super Ginrai. A drone named Godbomber is later built, and transforms into a tandem trailer. When Super Ginrai combines with Godbomber, the end result is God Ginrai. He commands the power of fire, exemplified through his assorted "Fire Guts" attacks. Although the mold is that of Powermaster Optimus Prime, released in the U.S, Ginrai is portrayed as an entirely new character. At the end of the series, Ginrai is separated from his Transtector, only to reveal that being bonded to it had given it sentience and taking his name as his own. He and other GodMasters and Headmasters Juniors left earth to continue the fight against the Decepticons. Ginrai died in Transformers Victory, and was rebuilt into Victory Leo.
*Godbomber - Godbomber is an Assault Trailer that can transform into a Battle Drone to fight alongside Ginrai. It could also combine with Ginrai to form God Ginrai, giving Ginrai the ability to fly. In American media Godbomber is said be a rebuilt and upgraded version of Roller, from G1.
Ranger shares a mold with the Hasbro Autobot Joyride and his Powermaster partner Hotwire, however he is a completely different character than the one portrayed by Hasbro.

Headmaster Juniors
The Headmaster Juniors are human kids given the power of the Masterforce, transforming them into Headmasters. Given Transtectors, that were created by Chromedome from Transformers The Headmasters, built on the planet Master. Like the Godmasters, to access this power they wore bracelets, colored silver instead of gold, and call out, “Masterforce!,” like the original Headmasters, after saying transform, they cry out, “Head On!” Also like the original Headmasters, the Transtectors for the Headmaster Juniors have meters in their chest to show their strength, speed and intelligence.
The Pretenders are a team of Autobots who are disguised as humans for millions of years, after sealing away the Decepticon Pretenders, they took these forms using a device called a Earth Gather. They revealed them selves once again when the Decepticon Pretender break free in the modern day. By shouting, “Pretender”, the Autobot Pretenders gain armor. By shout it again, they revert by to they’re true Cybertronian forms.

Pretenders
The Decepticon Pretenders take the form of Monsters, who inspired many legends of monsters on Earth. They were sealed away by the Autobot Pretenders millions of years ago, but broke free in the modern day. Instead of shouting, “Pretender”, twice like the Autobot Pretenders do. The Decepticon Pretenders only need to say it once, in order to reveal their true Cybertronian forms.
