Gordon Rodgers


Gordon Rodgers is a Canadian writer.

Biography

Rodgers is the author of two books of poetry: Floating Houses, and The Pyrate Latitudes, as well as a novella entitled The Phoenix. In 1999, he released his first novel, A Settlement of Memory, which is loosely based on the life of William Coaker. He obtained his MFA in Creative Writing from the University of British Columbia, and an MSc from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
He is a clinical psychologist, and is a part-time lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine of Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Personal

Rodgers lives in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador and is working on his second novel.
