Greencastle Historic District


Greencastle Historic District is a national historic district located in Greencastle in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 346 contributing buildings and 2 contributing sites in the central business district and immediately surrounding residential area of Greencastle. They date from the late-18th to early-20th century. The district has a number of notable examples of Federal, Classical Revival, and Second Empire style architecture. Notable buildings include the First National Bank, Brendle Building, Antrim House, Hostetter Building, former Pennsylvania Railroad Station, and the L.R. Walck Hatchery. The two sites are the German Reformed cemetery and Lutheran cemetery.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
