Grembergen
Grembergen is a town in the municipality of Dendermonde in the Denderstreek in the province of East Flanders in Belgium. It is often confused with the municipality of Grimbergen in the province of Flemish Brabant.
The Belgian symbolist painter Fernand Khnopff was born in a Castle at Grembergen in 1858. Most publications on Fernand Khnopff refer to the town with its French name: Grembergen-lez-Termonde.Born in Grembergen
