The Group of Nine is a group of nine northeastern European nations that would meet occasionally to discuss matters of mutual interest., there is no evidence that the group is either active or not, nor if any country from the Former Yugoslavia is still active.History
The alliance first came out in 1965, when the nine nations were lobbying and presenting a case study. They co-sponsor the Resolution 2129 promoting East-West cooperation in Europe, adopted by the UN General Assembly in December 1965.
During the invasion of Czechoslovakia of 1968, the group met again to discuss any issues that may arise because of the attack.Members
