Guam Community College


Guam Community College is a community college in Mangilao, Guam. It was founded by Dr. Maryly Van Leer Peck, the former dean of University of Guam and officially created by Public Law 14-77 in 1977.

History

Guam Community College was founded in 1977 for secondary or postsecondary students. Its campus is centrally located on 32.75 acre and has continuous improvements over the years. The college plays an important role in the six island public high schools where it offers several significant education programs in Tourism, Marketing, AutoCad, Construction and many more. Mary A.Y. Okada is the current president and was appointed in 2007.
