Guiche, Pyrénées-Atlantiques
Guiche is a commune in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department in south-western France.The anime/manga Rose of Versailles references Guiche as a dukedom when the "Duke de Guiche" plays a role in the story where the Duchess of Polignac engages both of her daughters to be married to him against their will.
The play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand features a character known as the Count de Guiche who depicts Antoine III de Gramont, a real-life French marshal from Guiche.
