Haneeth


Haneeth is a traditional dish originated from Yemen. It is also very popular in the rest of the Arabian Peninsula. The Haneeth is mentioned in the Quran .

Preparation

Haneeth meat is traditionally prepared in a hot Tannur that is prepared by burning coal, Leptadenia pyrotechnica and palm fronds which gives the meat its special taste. The Hawaij is usually added to the meat.
