Heritage Girls School


Heritage Girls School is an English medium fully residential school for girls, located on a verdant hill on the banks of Lake Baghela near Eklingji, in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, Cambridge International Examinations and is ranked as top 10 boarding schools in India by Education World. The School admits girls from classes IV to IX & XI. Heritage Girls School has been featured in Forbes India's marquee edition - Great Indian Schools 2019 by Great Place to Study.

History

Heritage Girls School was founded in 2014 by Mr. Jaswant Bhandari, Mr Tushar Bhandari and the Director Mr. Shriyans Bhandari.

Events

Two editions of TEDxYouth@HGS were organised by Heritage Girls School's students and staff for two consecutive years 2017 and 2018.
Every year school conducts International and National events like National Cooking Competition, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Trinity College of Music, London, Model United Nations, Academic Exhibition, Heritage Challenge Women’s Soccer tournament and Women’s Cricket tournament.
Heritage Girls School dedicates every academic year to the study of one country exposed to the art, history, geography, culture and cuisine of countries like Spain, South Africa, Egypt, France etc. The grand finale of the project is held on Founder’s Day each year.

Activities

Time to time school conducts different activities in sports, skill competition, finishing school classes, educational tour and knowledge sessions by national & international experienced professionals. In 2018 school conducts 'Strategies for Conflict Resolution’ by Master Trainer Prof Kishu L Daswani. In the same year school organized a session on ‘Communicate with Confidence’ by Mr. Craig Travasso.
Every year school participated in Olympic games such as Pie Olympics organized by Hindustan Zinc in collaboration with Rajasthan Patrika.

Campus

The school campus is Spread across 12.5 acres of land replete with lush green lawns with well-appointed Laboratories, an Activities Centre where students learn Music, Dance, Art & Craft and a modern Sports Complex comprising half-Olympic size swimming pool, a Fitness Centre and court for Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Cricket, Table Tennis, etc. and a 200 meters athletic track.
