He was

Johannes Hermanus Koekkoek
. He was the

Barend Cornelis

the father

Hermanus the Younger

Willem

Johannes Hermanus Barend
, and
Barend Hendrik
.
Like his
father
and
brothers
, he is known for
landscapes
and
seascapes
and taught his
sons
to
paint
in the
family tradition
. He
died
in Haarlem.
