The HindiWikipedia is the Hindi edition of Wikipedia. It was launched in July 2003. As of , it has :hi:Special:Statistics| articles. In June 2020, there were 47 million page views, the number of page views has been decreasing since November 2019.
The Hindi Wikipedia was launched on 11 July 2003. In July 2018, Google announced that they had been working with Hindi Wikipedians to translate English language articles into Hindi and had since 2008 translated 600,000 words in Hindi using a combination of Google Translate and manual checking. This coordinated translation contributed to growth for the site.

The average article in this language version has 5 categories, while number of unique categories per articles ratio is 0.42. The largest number of articles has Nature and Science category. In Hindi Wikipedia articles related to Business and People has the highest average quality. Content about Law is read more often and has the highest authors' interest on average. In March 2020 the Hindi Wikipedia contained 331.9 thousand references, wherein 3.29% of them had the DOI identifier and 8.2% of references contained the ISBN number. Total share of articles on the Hindi Wikipedia with at least one reference was 39.32%. At the time it had 4.53% and 0.29% of articles with at least 10 and 100 references respectively.
