Hiromichi Watanabe


Hiromichi Watanabe is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Matsudo City, Chiba he attended Waseda University as an undergraduate and received a master's degree from Meiji University. He was elected to the assembly of Chiba Prefecture in 1995 and then to the House of Representatives for the first time in 1996.
October 2 2018, Watanabe took office as Minister of Reconstruction.
