Hisham al-Khashin


Hisham al-Khashin is an Egyptian writer. He is best known for his novel Graphite which was nominated for the long list for the Arabic Booker Prize in 2015. His other works are the short story collections Very Egyptian Stories and Duet, and the novels What is Behind the Doors, Seven Days of Tahrir and Adam the Egyptian.
Al-Khashin is a civil engineer by profession.
