History (Funeral for a Friend song)


"History" is the seventh track and third single off Funeral for a Friend's second album, Hours. It reached number 21 on the UK Singles Chart.

Music video

The main protagonist of the music video is a British mine worker who fights alongside his fellow mine workers against the police during a strike, ultimately getting arrested. The band is shown playing in the midst of the battle between the miners and the police. At the end of the video, the miner is shown eating breakfast with his young son and wife. Most of the video was shot in black and white; however, the end of the video was shot in colour.
