History
Hitoichiba Station opened on 6 January 1915 as Meisei Station. It was renamed to its present name on 1 May of the same year. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East. A new station building was completed in 2015.Passenger statistics
