Holy Cross Township is a township in Clay County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 129 at the 2000 census.
Holy Cross Township was named for a tall Christian cross which stood at a local cemetery.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there were 129 people, 47 households, and 43 families residing in the township. The population density was 3.9 people per square mile. There were 59 housing units at an average density of 1.8/sq mi. The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White.
There were 47 households, out of which 36.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 87.2% were married couples living together, and 6.4% were non-families. 6.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.74 and the average family size was 2.82.
In the township the population was spread out, with 27.1% under the age of 18, 2.3% from 18 to 24, 26.4% from 25 to 44, 29.5% from 45 to 64, and 14.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
