Hong Kong 3D Museum
Hong Kong 3D Museum is a privately owned art museum on Granville Road, Hong Kong. The museum specializes in trompe-l'œil and was opened on 7 July 2014. The artwork in the museum were created by local artists and focus on local culture and cityscape, with instructions to help visitors view and photograph the optical illusions as intended. The museum was inspired by the Trickeye Museum in Seoul and similar establishments in other Asian countries.
In April 2015, Hong Kong 3D Museum hosted the first 3D exhibition on the manga series One Piece. The One Piece exhibition was criticized as prone to continuity errors but was otherwise well received. In May 2015, a subsidiary gallery of Hong Kong 3D Museum was opened in Ponte 16, Macau.
