Hrajel


Hrajel is a town and municipality located in the Keserwan District of the Mount Lebanon Governorate of Lebanon. The town is about north of Beirut. It has an average elevation of 1,320 meters above sea level and a total land area of 1,230 hectares.
A hidden grotto can be found in Hrajel next to a river that feeds the Dog River. The grotto is rumored to be a far upward extension of the Jeita grotto but it is currently closed to the public.
Hrajel's inhabitants are Maronites.
