Huỳnh Thúc Kháng


Huỳnh Thúc Kháng was a Vietnamese anti-colonialist and associate of Phan Chu Trinh.
Huỳnh Thúc Kháng born in Tiên Phước District in Quảng Nam Province, the same district from which Trinh hailed. Khang went on to top the imperial examinations in 1900. In 1946 Kháng came back to Quảng Ngãi to lead the fight against the French in the 5th Interzone. He died the next year under suspicious circumstances.
