Iain B. MacDonald
Iain B. MacDonald is a British television director. He has directed a diverse range of projects such as the award-winning Bodies, Mansfield Park, The Last Enemy and Combat Hospital. In 2010 he diversified into comedy, going on to direct two seasons of the BBC's critically acclaimed Bluestone 42, White Van Man and two seasons of Showtime's Episodes starring Matt LeBlanc.
He started his career making arts documentaries before moving into television drama with his award-winning short Billy's Day Out.
In 2014 he was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for his work on Episodes.
MacDonald is also a long-time friend of British director Saul Dibb, as well as being the godfather of his son, Rex.
