Idriz Voca


Idriz Naser Voca is a Kosovan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Swiss club Luzern and the Kosovo national team.

Early life

Voca was born in Stans, Switzerland from Kosovo Albanian father and Bosnian-Albanian mother. He holds Kosovar, Albanian and Swiss passports.

Club career

Early career

In 2004. Voca started his youth career with FC Hergiswil. While, in 2008 was joins with Luzern. In the 2015–16 season, he became part of the under-21 team in the 1. Liga Classic.

Luzern

In the second-half of the 2016–17 season. On 26 February 2017. Voca gained entry with the first team as he participated in the league match against Basel. On 5 April 2017, he made his debut against Sion for the 2016–17 Swiss Cup Semifinal coming on as a substitute in the 103rd minute of the Extra time in place of Tomi Juric. The entire match finished in a goalless draw and advanced in the penalty shoot-out, where Voca scored the 6th and last penalty but Luzern lost 6–5. Voca started the 2016–17 season with the first team. On 13 July 2017, featuring in the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League second qualifying round first leg game against Osijek, where he was an unused substitute for the entire game.

Under-21

On 17 January 2017. Voca received a call-up from Albania U21 for a gathering in Durrës, Albania from 18–25 January 2017.

Kosovo

Under-21

On 29 August 2017. Voca received a call-up from Kosovo U21 for a 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualification matches against Norway U21 and Germany U21 and making his debut after being named in the starting line-up.

Senior

On 19 March 2018. Voca received a call-up from Kosovo for the friendly matches against Madagascar and Burkina Faso. On 24 March 2018, he made his debut with Kosovo in a friendly match against Madagascar after coming on as a substitute at 77th minute in place of Edon Zhegrova.
