International School of Moscow


The International School of Moscow is an international school serving the expatriate community in Moscow. The school follows the English National Curriculum with students taking their IGCSE and AS/A-Level exams in secondary school and sixth form.
ISM was established in April 2007.

Location and facilities

The International School of Moscow has two campuses. One is based in Krylatskoye District, Western Administrative Okrug, Moscow, and one in the International Residential Complex Rosinka, Krasnogorsky District, Moscow Oblast.
Facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, libraries, ICT rooms, sports facilities, dining halls, swimming pool, rowing lake, climbing walls and STEAM rooms.

Leadership

ISM is governed by Nord Anglia Education. The day-to-day operation is overseen by the principal. The school is also an affiliate of the Council of British International Schools, and is licensed by the Russian authorities.

Staff

ISM has academic staff from many different native-English speaking countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. In Early Years and Primary, all classes have a teacher and an assistant teacher. All teachers are qualified to teach the English National Curriculum by British universities. Assistant teachers are both native and non-native English speakers.
