Iosif Lereter
Iosif Lereter is a Romanian former footballer and manager.Career
At the begging of his career, Lereter played as a forward and midfielder, ending his career as a defender. He was part of UTA's team that in the 1970–1971 European Cup season eliminated Feyenoord who were European champions at that time. On 16 October 1971 while playing for UTA Arad in a match against Argeș Pitești he became the first footballer to reach 300 appearances in the Romanian top-league Divizia A. In 2008 Iosif Lereter received the Honorary Citizen of Timișoara title. In 2018 in order to celebrate 60 years since the winning of the 1957–1958 Cupa României, the Politehnica University of Timișoara awarded Lereter a diploma of excellence.International career
Lereter played one game at international level for Romania in a 1966 FIFA World Cup qualification match which ended with a 3–1 loss against Czechoslovakia.Honours
