Isaiah Dwayne Buggs is an American football defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. He played college football at Alabama.Early years
Buggs attended and played high school football at Ruston High School in Ruston, Louisiana.College career
Buggs played at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 2015 and 2016. During the two years he had 134 tackles and 7.5 sacks. In 2017, he transferred to the University of Alabama. During his first year at Alabama in 2017, Buggs started 13 of 14 games, recording 51 tackles and 1.5 sacks. He had five tackles in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship victory over Georgia. He returned to Alabama in 2018.Buggs was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. In his rookie season, he appeared in eight games and recorded three total tackles.
