The show revolves around Ridhima, Kabir, and Vansh. Ridhima is madly in love with Kabir and is ready to do anything for him. Kabir, on the other hand, is blinded by rage and revenge against Vansh Rai Singhania, a ruthless white-collar mafioso, and wants to catch him. His love for his country and desire for revenge leads him to ask Ridhima to spy on Vansh for him. Ridhima agrees to help Kabir and goes to Vansh's cruise to organize a party for him. Although he is suspicious about her, Vansh soon becomes attracted to Ridhima and starts digging out her backstory. She soon gains Vansh's trust. Vansh offers to Ridhima that she become Siya's personal therapist, which she declines at first. When they leave from the cruise, Ridhima gives Kabir's address to the taxi driver, but is taken to Vansh's house. There he again offers that she becomes Siya's personal therapist and she accepts. There, she tries to gather evidence against Vansh. She got caught once but it was just her imagination. She is caught when she is in the backyard and Vansh sees the mud on her sandal. She gets caught when she is in Vansh's study room but she says she was looking for a book. Vansh comes again and Ridhima is holding a transmitter. She disassembles it and throws it out of the window. When she looks for it she cannot find it. Vansh suspects her and one of his men finds the pieces of the transmitter. When he reassembles it, Kabir is on the other end. Kabir is waiting for Ridhima to talk, but when she doesn't he puts a piece of cloth near his headphone and says "Do you have any information, Aryan?". Later, Vansh asks Aryan to prove himself innocent in 24 hours. Riddhima is shattered, scared by the results after Vansh will learn about her lie, and she considers aborting her mission. She tied three knots on a red cloth and threw it out of a window as a signal for Kabir to quit, but is caught by Aryan. Vansh asks her to whom she was giving the signals, but she explains herself by saying that she found some rusted iron nails in her room, a sign of bad luck, and therefore wrapped them in the cloth and threw them out of the window. The cloth is brought up and it is found that there were, in fact, some nails in it. Suddenly the lights shut off, and Ridhima is abducted by someone, but she is soon able to relax as it was Kabir who abducted her. Aangre informs Vansh that someone has entered the mansion and locks the mansion. Soon, Vansh finds Ridhima but Kabir hides behind her because it was dark. Kabir manages to escape from behind Ridhima and slips the cutter which he used to cut the power supply into Ishani's purse who he found waiting for a taxi at the main door. Angre stops Ishani from leaving because the house is under a lockdown so that the intruder can be caught. Vansh questions Ishani about where she was going and Ishani gets upset. Meanwhile, Vansh gifts her a phone in return for helping him stretch a muscle he had pulled and Siya tells Ridhima that Vansh has started trusting her. Ridhima gets excited that she can now call Kabir whenever she wants and immediately goes to her room and calls him. Vansh however, is tracking her calls. Kabir picks up the phone and when Ridhima tells him about the new phone, Kabir tells her to disconnect the call immediately. Vansh traces the location and orders for the person on the other end of the call to be brought to him within 10 minutes. Vansh calls Ridhima and tells her that he has figured out her secret. Ridhima finds Vansh beating up and man who is tied up in a chair who is not Kabir. It is revealed that Kabir threw his phone into this man's car and got a new phone. Vansh asks why there was a call from Ridhima's phone to this man's number. Ridhima tells Vansh that she was trying to call her best friend Sejal but dialed the wrong number. Ridhima shouts as Vansh for spying on her in the name of a gift and tells him that he has no right to play with someone else's life. Vansh's family thinks of getting him married. Ridhima decides to resign and leave the Raisinghania mansion but the front gate is locked as before she can reach it. Ridhima questions Vansh as to why he stopped her Vansh tells Ridhima that he goes to marry Ridhima in just three days Ridhima is shocked by this shocking revelation while Sia and Vansh's grandmother is overjoyed and start wedding preparations Ridhima is infuriated by all this and is left helpless.

The first promo was released on 23 January 2020 while the second one was released on 10 March 2020. Earlier finalised to premiere on 30 March 2020, the series was pushed to 13 July 2020 due to the global COVID–19 outbreak.
