Jack Read was an English rugby union and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s. He played representative level rugby union for Gloucestershire, and representative level rugby league for Rugby League XIII, and at club level for Oldham, as a, i.e. number 8 or 10.Playing career
