Jackson Township, Miami County, Indiana


Jackson Township is one of fourteen townships in Miami County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,956 and it contained 843 housing units.

History

The first settlement at Jackson Township was made in 1842. Jackson Township was organized in 1846. The township is named for Andrew Jackson, seventh President of the United States.

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which is land and is water.
