James Harold Charles Hamilton, Marquess of Hamilton is a British aristocrat. He is the heir apparent to the Dukedom of Abercorn.Biography
James Harold Charles Hamilton was born on 19 August 1969 in Paddington, London to James Hamilton and his wife Alexandra, the then-Marquess and Marchioness of Hamilton. He has two siblings; Lady Sophia and Lord Nicholas. From his birth, he was given the courtesy title Viscount Strabane, as the Duke of Abercorn's heir apparent's heir apparent.
Upon his paternal grandfather's death in 1979, Hamilton became Marquess of Hamilton as his father's heir apparent. Hamilton was educated at Harrow School as a boy. He was also a Page of Honour to Elizabeth II from 1982 until 1984.
Hamilton married Tanya Marie Nation on 7 May 2004 at the Guards Chapel, Wellington Barracks. They have two children together:
