Jane Keckley


Jane Keckley was an American actress of the silent and sound film eras.

Biography

Keckley began her acting career in film "shorts" during the 1910s. Her first feature film was 1915's The Circular Staircase. In her twenty-five year career, she would appear in over 90 films, as well as dozens of shorts. She would appear as a supporting actress in such films as: William Desmond Taylor's Huck and Tom ; the 1936 version of Show Boat, starring Irene Dunne and Allan Jones; and Magnificent Obsession, starring Irene Dunne and Robert Taylor.
She was under contract to Paramount in the late 1930s and early 1940s, where she appeared in her final film, South of Santa Fe, starring Roy Rogers. Keckley would die on August 14, 1963.
