Jane Smit


Jane Smit is an English cricketer and former member of the England team. She retired from the game during England's tour of Australia in 2008 after having played 109 one day internationals and 21 Tests. She was part of the team which regained the Ashes in 2005. Her brother David represented the Derbyshire Cricket Board in List A cricket.
In the 2000 Women's Cricket World Cup she along with Claire Taylor set the record for the highest 5th wicket runstand in the history of Women's Cricket World Cup
She holds the record for registering the most dismissals as wicketkeeper in Women's Cricket World Cup history
