Janne Mark


Janne Irene Mark is a Danish vocalist and composer.

Biography

Janne Mark was raised in a home without much music, but listened to the music of the 1980s when she was young. As a singer she debuted with the band B-WARE, who won the 1992 Danmarks Radio's Zig Zag program, sort of a Junior Eurovision Song Contest. She has released four albums after this, but got international recognition first with her album Pilgrim on the ACT label. In Denmark she is mostly known as a composer and singer of religious hymns.
