History

The website was founded in 2001 as a part of the Jasmin media group in Budapest. It has been headquartered in Luxembourg since 2013 and employs more than 650 people from 30 different nationalities who are specialists in areas such as technical business analysis, quality management, development and project management.
In 2014, Jasmin TV was launched as a type of Web TV to reach the general public.
In 2016, an art collection called 'Meeting Jasmin' was launched where 33 models were brought to life virtually by 3 artists; Raphael Vincenzi, Alberto Seveso, and Hugo Valentine.
In 2019, Jasmin set up a series of phone booths across different American cities such as New York, Nashville, Boston, and Denver, to name a few, where the general public could pick up the phone and hear a voice which gave them important tips, facts, and statistics about sexual health.
The website received further notability as a social network connecting users with influencers, after it was disclosed as a venture of the celebrity Pamela Anderson. She was reported to work in the venture as its creative director.
