Jason Hickel
Jason Hickel is an anthropologist, author, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. He received his PhD in Anthropology from the University of Virginia in 2011 and has taught there and at the London School of Economics and Goldsmiths, University of London. He writes on global development and political economy, contributing regularly to The Guardian, Foreign Policy and Al Jazeera, as well as Jacobin and other popular outlets. His work has been funded by Fulbright, the National Science Foundation, the Wenner-Gren Foundation, the Charlotte Newcombe Foundation, and the Leverhulme Trust. He served on the U.K. Labour Party task force on international development in 2018-2019.Books
