History

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Shyampur Sehore district was started on July, 1988 with 22 students both boys and girls at temporary site in shyampur village. The school shifted at permanent site in July, 1990 to its own 35 acres campus on national highway no 12.

The founder Principal Shri. N K Kaushik and current principal is Smt.Geetika Sharma.

Migration

As per the policy, to promote national integration, migration of JNV Shyampur Sehore district to JNV Chamrajnagar in Karnataka and vice versa is effectively carried out Kannada is taught as third language to promote national integration. Also mini migration is carried out from nearby school namely JNVs like JNV Vidisha, JNV Rajgarh, JNV Bhopl.

School stands on a 35 acres campus near shyampur village. Alumni Association

Alumni association is functioning effectively in the Vidyalaya since 2006 with a view to record the 'Social Values' our family members have achieved. Coordinator for this Association is Lalit Solanki.
