Jean-Baptiste Vifquain


Jean-Baptiste Vifquain - architect and engineer of roads and bridges from Belgium. He was born on June 24, 1789 in Tournai and died on August 31, 1854 in Ivry-sur-Seine. He graduated from the École polytechnique, the Académie des beaux-arts de Tournai. He was awarded the Order of the Netherlands Lion, the Officer of the Legion of Honour, the Order of the Red Eagle, the Officer of the Order of Leopold.
