Jean Rudolf von Salis


Jean Rudolf von Salis - Swiss historian and writer (1901-1996). He was born on December 12, 1901 in Bern and died on July 14, 1996 in Brunegg. He graduated from the University of Paris. He was awarded the Great Silver Medal of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria, the Officer of the Legion of Honour, the Honorary doctor of the University of Vienna, the Knight Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
