Joanna Brown


Joanna Brown is a Canadian triathlete.

Youth career

In 2010, she was a bronze medalist at the junior world championships and in 2012 was bronze medalist at the U23 world championships.

Professional career

2015 season

Brown competed in the women's triathlon at the 2015 Pan American Games.

2016 season

In 2016, she competed on the 2016 ITU World Triathlon Series finishing 17th in Edmonton.

2017 season

Brown finished second by 1 second to American Katie Zaferes at the World Cup event at New Plymouth. She also finished second at the World Cup event in Cagliari. She was named triathlete of the year by Triathlon Magazine Canada.

2018 season

Brown took bronze in the women's triathlon at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
