Joe Moravsky

Joe Moravsky is an American athlete and meteorologist who has competed on American Ninja Warrior in seasons five through eleven. He is best known for being the last ninja standing twice and competing on USA Network's Team Ninja Warrior season one and winning season two.

Career

Moravsky first competed on American Ninja Warrior in season 5, making it to the Stage Three in the Las Vegas Finals. However, he failed to complete the Floating Boards and was eliminated on Stage 3.
In season 6, Moravsky would once again make it to the Vegas Finals. Unfortunately, he fell on the Hang Climb but was still crowned Last Ninja Standing.
Out of all the athletes on American Ninja Warrior, Moravsky has more Stage 3 appearances than any other athlete in American Ninja Warrior history. Moravsky is also one of the most consistent and agile athletes in the show’s history. In addition to NBC's American Ninja Warrior, Moravsky also competes on USA Network's Team Ninja Warrior and in many local Ninja Warrior competitions. In 2016, Moravsky would compete on Team Ninja Warrior alongside his cousin Rob Moravsky and female star Mary Beth Wang. They would have some incredible runs, but would not place.
In the 2017 season of Team Ninja Warrior, Moravsky would coach his new teammates Josh Levin and Allyssa Beird to first place, winners of Season 2 of TNW.
Partly due to Moravsky's success on American Ninja Warrior, he has been able to work with NBC properties such as The Weather Channel and has partnered with Macy's.
In 2018, he was made team captain of Team USA on American Ninja Warrior: USA vs. The World for being the Last Ninja Standing for a second time in Season 9.
In Season 10 of American Ninja Warrior, Moravsky once again reached the National Finals but fell early in the course on Stage 1's Double Dipper. This marked the first time he ever failed in Stage 1.
In Season 11 of American Ninja Warrior, Moravsky once again reached the National Finals but, there was a twist, he hit no buzzers in the city competition but still was able to get to the Vegas Finals. In the finals, he completed Stage 1 and 2 once again making it back to Stage 3. After finishing the Ultimate Cliffhanger he managed to rip his hand but was able to get through the fifth obstacle before falling on Cane Lane... just feet away from his first time of finishing Stage 3.

Personal life

Moravsky studied meteorology at Western Connecticut State University and used to be seen frequently as a freelance meteorologist at News 12 Connecticut. Although he is still employed by News 12, he rarely works any shifts due to his busy Ninja schedule; thanks to his success on NBC's American Ninja Warrior. He currently travels the country in partnership with Ninja Coalition doing special events/coaching but mostly works at Real Life Ninja Academy in Stamford, Connecticut.
