Joe Trillo


Joseph A. Trillo is an American politician. Formerly a Republican, Trillo is now an Independent. He was a State Representative from Rhode Island representing District 24 in the city of Warwick, Rhode Island from 2001 to 2017. He served as Deputy Minority Leader.
Trillo is also a former National Committeeman for the Rhode Island Republican Party.
Trillo announced his candidacy for Governor of Rhode Island on December 5, 2017 as an Independent.
His ancestors are from Isoletta in Ciociaria, Latium, south of Rome.
