John Donaldson McCallum


The Very Rev John Donaldson McCallum DD was a 20th-century Scottish minister who served as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland in 1926.

Life

He is thought to have been born in Glasgow, possibly the son of Rev A K McCallum of 327 Duke Street, who was governor of a boys reformatory school.
He studied divinity at Glasgow University graduating MA in 1881 and BD in 1884.
He was minister of Larkhall from at least 1896 to 1926.
He is buried in Larkhall Cemetery.
