John Laband
John Laband in Johannesburg is a south african historian and writer, specialising in Anglo-Zulu and Boers wars who lectured in history for 42 years at various universities in South Africa, England and Canada.Biography
During his life he published many books about the military history of southern Africa and the history of the Zulu nation and the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879 in particular. John Paul Clow Laband is Professor Emeritus and Chair of History at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada, and is a Life Member of Clare Hall, Cambridge University, England.
