John Lovick (politician)


John R. Lovick is a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives. He was appointed in June 2016 to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Hans Dunshee.
Lovick previously served in the House from 1999 until 2007, as Snohomish County Sheriff, and on both the Mill Creek city and Snohomish County councils. From 2013 to 2015, Lovick was the Snohomish County Executive, appointed after the resignation of Aaron Reardon; Lovick lost to Dave Somers in the 2015 election.
Lovick has served as a sergeant of the Washington State Patrol since 1997.

Lovick and his wife, Karen, have 5 children.
