John V. Sheridan


John V. Sheridan was an American lawyer and politician from New York.

Life

Sheridan was a member of the New York State Assembly in 1907, 1908 and 1909.
He was a member of the New York State Senate in 1917 and 1918.
During the 1930s, he opposed the Democratic leader of the Bronx Edward J. Flynn; and in 1938, he supported Republican Thomas E. Dewey for Governor.
