José Ramón Álvarez Rendueles - economist from Spain. He was born on June 17, 1940 in Gijón. He graduated from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He was awarded the medal of the Order of Constitutional Merit, the Grand Cross of the Order of Civil Merit, the Grand Cross of the Order of Isabella the Catholic, the Knight Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
