. It is a

feature
with a slightly
raised
rim
.
The crater was named after
American
astronomer
Alfred Harrison Joy
in
1973
. Before, it was
designated
Hadley
A.
Mons Hadley
lies
to the
west-northwest
in the
Montes Apenninus
range.
