Kaliroots
Kaliroots is a Canadian roots reggae band from Mont-Saint-Hilaire. The band's leader was keyboardist Jean-Sebastien Girard.History
Kaliroots formed in 1995. They began by performing in bars in Montreal, including the Jailhouse Rock Cafe and the Medley.
In 1998 the band self-released an album, Roots Rock Kébec, which was sold online. They participated in music festivals, including Woodstock en Beauce and Les Francofolies de Montreal. They won the Felix award from the ADISQ for the world music category in 2001.
Kali released an album, Mission Internationale, in 2004.Members
