Kamalapuram, Warangal district
Kamalapuram is a panchayat in Warangal district in the Indian state of Telangana State.
It is situated around 120 km from warangal headquarters and comes under mulugu constituency in Mangapet Mandal. It is also located at the banks of river Godavari. Majority of the population were employees from BILT, which used to be called AP Rayons.
Currently due to unforeseen circumstances, the factory has been closed for more than 5 years. Most of the employees moved to nearby towns and cities for their livelihood. This who are native, mostly farmers, retailers and few employees still living in this village.
